To visit Venice is a dream. To visit Venice during carnival is a magical experience and the Teatro a Fenice is a jewel. A world famous opera house built in 1792. The theatre inside is magnificent. Individual red velvet chairs. The ornate gold and turquoise painted ceiling. Exquisite chandeliers. It took my breath away.
